The space

Penthouse Nido is a uniquely Tulum experience. You walk through trees to a private doorway opening into a hidden and beautiful intimate jungle garden with hundreds of tropical plants and peaceful water fountain. Up the stairway to the private door into Nido, you enter the space into the “library”, a small intimate room where you can sit and enjoy a book while relaxing. Up from the library is the open concept living area with views into the trees through a wall of glass. Two private balconies provide you with either a bird’s eye view of the jungle garden in the courtyard or the front private balcony allows you to sit outside and relax while looking at the beautiful flowering trees along the street.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a convenient laundry adjacent. The large refrigerator features a built-in water dispenser and ice maker. The ceilings are made with beautiful wood of the region along with a stunning long dining table and unique chandelier. The views from the high ceiling living space into one the largest trees in the area are magical. Many tropical birds rest here and you are surrounded by their melodic sounds. The living/seating area is large with built-in cushions for lounging or reading while you listen to the sounds of nature, get ready for dinner, or just relax with a book. Tasteful decorations are everywhere in Nido, handpicked for style and elegance.

Two steps take you to the guest bedroom and bath. Bedroom windows open to the trees in the courtyard or close off for privacy. A large screen Samsung QLED TV with built-in Netflix and Amazon Prime allows you to use your account to enjoy programs. A large armoire has space for all your things during your visit as well as extras such as an iron, ironing board, and shopping bags (Tulum is “green” so they do not provide plastic bags when you shop).

Up a flight of steps brings you to another of the many highlights, the master bedroom. A private bath with both tub and shower also features double sinks. Skylights provide added lighting to this intimate space. An adjoining closet has plenty of room for all your belongings and a built-in safe to secure your valuables. The bedroom looks out through an entire wall of windows which open onto the rooftop deck with a palapa cover and plunge pool. Here, the relaxing breezes and the special sunset views make this a one of a kind place to enjoy your adventure in Tulum. Another large Samsung QLED TV is located here as well viewable from the bed or outside while sitting in the palapa. High speed internet and wifi are provided at no extra charge.

Guest access

Penthouse Nido is part of a unique, small development of only 4 units. All spaces are completely private, separated by plants and trees to let you enjoy the essence of Tulum. We will welcome you in person or you can also check in via a Key Lock on the entrance.
We also provide fiber optic internet service, the best one in Tulum. So, no worries if you need to work from home.

Other things to note

You should consider renting a car or bicycle to move around during your stay as taxis to the beach and town can be more pricey than you think plus this will give you more freedom to explore the ruins, beaches, cenotes and different parks and attractions in the area. You will also save the transport cost to and from the airport when you rent a car.
